Waldo Warren Emerson, loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend, passed away on June 13, 2018.

He was born on March 11, 1928 in Comstock, Nebraska to Richard and Lula May Emerson. The family moved to Marsing, Idaho, where Waldo was raised and attended Marsing Schools and spent a lot of time being mischievous with his brothers. He married Lois Schwalbe on August 8, 1948 in Nampa, Idaho. Waldo spent many years working for the Union Pacific Railroad until he retired after 42 years of service.

Waldo was preceded in death by his wife Lois, his father Richard and mother Lula May, his brothers Kenneth, Don, Dwight, Richard, Russell, and Raymond and sisters Rena and Austa.

He is survived by his brother Paul (Imogene) of Caldwell, Idaho, his daughter Vickie (Loren) Crabtree of Sumas, Washington and his son Rick (Juanita) of Wylie, Texas. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. The family would like to thank the staff of Seasons Hospice of Dallas, Texas for their help and kindness through this difficult time.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am Saturday June 30,2018 at Kohlerlawn Cemetery in Nampa.
