MARY ELLEANOR MAYFIELD, Abt. 1848 - 1926

Mary Elleanor Mayfield, daughter of Uriah and Mary Jane Grimes Mayfield was born in 1849 in Ursa Township, Adams County, Illinois and died at age 77 on February 12, 1926 in Hannibal, Marion County, Missouri. She married T. James Givan (he used his middle name of Thomas) on December 24, 1868 in Adams County, Illinois. She and her husband James T. Givan, along with their grandson Joseph H. Givan, are buried in the Mt. Olivet Cemetery at Hannibal, Missouri. Apparently shortly after they were married they went to live near his parents in Hannibal, Marion County, Missouri where the Givan family were in the grocery business.
