Mr. Seay served as the first Public Administrator of Osage County, appointed in 1841; in 1851 he served as Commissioner. He also served as Presiding Judge, foreman of the first Grand Jury and he was also one of the early school teachers. He was born Camm Jefferson Seay in Virginia and reportedly died of choera. This cemetery is located on a hill high above the house. The graves are inside a bick foundation; only one has an inscribed marker. There are about 6-8 stones.
