Evan Carswell Abee, 97, of Valdese, died Wednesday June 21, 2006 at Britthaven Nursing Center in Morganton following a period of declining health.
Mrs. Abee was born on May 1, 1909 in Burke County to Elisha Carswell and Pearlie Brown Carswell.
She was a homemaker.
Evan attended Lighthouse Ministries in Drexel.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Clayton Abee; her four children, Everette Abee, Margaret Deal, Evelyn Stephens, and Gladys Lambert; and two Grandchildren.
Interment: Abee's Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery.
