Mr. Frank Warchol, Jr., 65, of North Augusta, SC, husband of Mrs. Vickie Nappier Warchol, entered into rest suddenly on Wednesday, May 9, 2018, at his home. Born in Brooklyn, NY, son of the late Frank, Sr. and Agnes Grum Warchol, he had been a resident of Aiken County, SC, since 1981.

A Vietnam Veteran, he proudly and with honor served his country in the United States Army. He retired from the Aiken County Sheriff's Office as an Investigator. He was a member of the American Legion and was a 3rd degree member of the Knights of Columbus #7062 Fr. Joseph J. Murphy Council. Family was very important to Frank and he cherished the time spent with them, especially his grandchildren, Emily and Layla Russo and Mckenzie Warchol. Frank bequeathed his body to science in order to help others.

In addition to his wife, parents and grandchildren, family members include his children and their spouses: Heather and Ryan Russo of Columbia, SC, Mark and Jennifer Warchol and Cari Warchol of Aiken, SC; sister: Marilyn Cotter of NJ; another grand: Khloe Henley, is due in July.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, May 12, 2018, beginning at 6 PM at Hatcher Funeral and Cremation Service, 3464 Jefferson Davis Highway, Graniteville, SC. Veterans Honors accorded by a United States Army Honor Guard will follow at 7 PM. Following the rendering of honors, family and friends are invited to share memories of Frank. It has been requested that if so desired, memorials be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, (www.woundedwarriorproject.org). Hatcher Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
