Rock Musician. A bassist, he (along with his younger brother Derek, a drummer) was a founding member of the 1970s Scottish Rock/Pop ensemble "The Bay City Rollers". Formed as The Saxons during the late 1960s, the group evolved into the Bay City Rollers and enjoyed commercial success during the 1970s with the hits "Saturday Night" (1975), which achieved gold record status and a number one placing on the American Pop Charts. This was followed with the Top 10 hit "Money Honey" (1976) and "You Made Me Believe in Magic" (1977), which also achieved a Top 10 placing.
