Martha R. Ogren, age 76, a resident of North Ridge Medical and Rehabilitation Center, Manitowoc, entered eternal rest on Sunday, July 15, 2012 at the Center.
She was born on April 15, 1936 to the late Ludwig and Martha F. (Tolksdorf) Schleis in Manitowoc. Martha was employed many years with Mirro Company as well as Wal-Mart. She enjoyed meeting people and greatly enjoyed her job as a greeter at Wal-Mart, where she made new friends as well as reconnecting with old friends. Martha loved listening to country music.
Martha is survived by three sons and three daughters-in-law: Edwin F. and Mary Gessert III, Two Creeks, Randy L. and Lynn Gessert, Two Creeks and Kenneth A. and Janice Gessert, Manitowoc; two daughters: Tammy S. LeCloux and her fiancé Chad Lesperance, Newton and Tracy L. Ogren and her special friend Randy Howell, Manitowoc; 10 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; two sisters and two brothers-in-law: Elizabeth and Bob Dunn, Mishicot and Nancy Ann and Steve Wegner, Two Rivers. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother: Ludwig Schleis and a grandson: Jesse LeCloux.
Cremation has occurred at All-Care Cremation Center, and a memorial service will be held on Thursday, July 19, 2012 at 5:00 PM at the Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc. Officiating at the service will be Deacon Bob Pribek, and Martha will be laid to rest at St. Ann's Catholic Cemetery, Francis Creek at a later date.
The family will greet relatives and friends from 3:00 PM until 5:00 PM on Thursday, July 19, 2012 at the Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc.
