Major League Baseball Player. Born in Cleveland, Mississippi, he was a pitcher for six seasons (2002 to 2007) with the Boston Red Sox, Philadelphia Phillies, Cincinnati Reds and St. Louis Cardinals. He was a member of the 2006 World Champion Cardinals. During his college years, Hancock played for Auburn University. In 102 career regular season games, Hancock won 9 and lost 7 with a 4.20 lifetime ERA.
