VERNAL - Mrs. Elizabeth Bernetta Hickman Shimmin Witbeck, 77, died Thursday of a heart ailment at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Herbert M. Snyder, Vernal.

Survivors include a son, Vern Shimmin, Ogden; a daughter, Mrs. Pearl Shimmin Snyder, Vernal; two stepsons, Haller Witbeck, Grand Junction, Colorado, and W. E. Witbeck, Vernal; a brother, Ned Hickman, Burbank, California; two sisters, Mrs. Kathryn Delahoyde, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Gussie Sutherland, Reno, Nevada, and 12 grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted Monday at 2 p.m. in the Vernal First LDS ward chapel by Jesse A. Haws, Bishop.
