Frank "Blade" Belice, 57, of Apollo, died Saturday, Dec. 10, 2005, in Veterans Administration Hospital, Oakland.

Born Feb. 28, 1948, in Hyde Park, the son of the late John Sr. and Florence Marie (Amer) Belice, he lived in the Kiski Valley most of his life.

A Vietnam War veteran, he served in the U.S. Army as a radio switchboard operator.

He was a member of the Sons of Italy, Vandergrift. He enjoyed bingo, slot machines and dog races.

He is survived by three sisters, Mary Lou (Ralph Camp) Kettering of Spring Church, Florence Palmer of Apollo, and Patricia (Warren) Ross of Spring Church; a brother, John Belice Jr. of Apollo; four nieces, Patricia Pierce, Lynette Ross, Renee Gruska and Alisha Belice; and three nephews, Frank M. Belice, John Palmer and John Belice.

There will be no visitation. Arrangements are by the CURRAN-SHAFFER FUNERAL, Apollo. A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. Tuesday at Frank's residence.

Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery, Apollo.
