Rose M. Ferroni, 90, a lifelong resident of Eveleth died Sunday, Sept. 27, 2009, at St. Raphael's Health & Rehabilitation Center in Eveleth. She was born on Feb. 26, 1919, in Eveleth to Edward and Inez (Moroni) Mariucci.

Rose was united in marriage to Louis "Peachy" Ferroni in Eveleth on Nov. 4, 1944.

She was a member of the Resurrection Catholic Church, the former Immaculate Conception Church and the Eveleth Women's Curling Club. Rose was very active in the Catholic Daughters of the Americas Court St. Margaret No. 1888, St. Anne's Society and the National Catholic Society of Foresters.

Having catered for many years, she was well known by many people. She enjoyed cooking, curling, traveling, visiting with friends at the Italian Bakery and spending time with her family.

Rose is survived by her children: Donald, David (Suzanne), Mary Rose (Greg) Weis; granddaughter, Gabriella Ferroni; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Louis; brother, John Mariucci; sister, Pauline Ulasich; and cousin, Theresa Moroni.

Interment will be in Eveleth Cemetery.
