Allyn Freeman Ball, 58, of Jacksonville passed away in the presence of family on March 13, 2016, from being too awesome for this world. Allyn was born on March 7, 1958 in England, the son of US Air Force Chief Master Sergeant William Ball and his wife Shirley Ball. Allyn married Mary Kathleen O'Brien on June 25, 1976, one of the best decisions of his life. Allyn was a larger than life man with a heart of gold, excellent musical taste, and a love of the irreverent, who brought real talk, biting wit, and laughter to so many during his comedic career. His love for his family knew no bounds. His love of bowling was a close second. Allyn is survived by his loving mother, Shirley, typical little brother, Bob, awesome wife of 39 years, Kathy, doppelganger daughter, Taya, and brand new granddaughter, Willa, who definitely inherited his attitude (science joke number one). Donations to St. Jude's Children's Hospital in his honor are appreciated. Those Who Pay Attention Are Rewarded. Be cool, everyone.
