Mr. Bailey Allen Pickett, 75, passed away, Wednesday August 1, 2018 at his home with his family at his side.

He was born in Gruetli-Laager, Tennessee on January 10, 1943 to John Lillard Pickett and Helen Beatrice Caldwell Pickett who preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Joan Eastridge Pickett and his brother, Stanley Pickett.

He was a US Navy Veteran of 8 years and retired after 22 years in the Navy Reserves. He retired from South Central Bell – Bell South– AT & T phone company.

He is survived by his son, Duane Kurt (Tammi) Pickett, Harrison, TN; daughters, Barbara Joette Dodson, Gruetli-Laager, TN and Sandy J. (Boyd) Abrams, Lafayette, GA; sisters, Elsie Hinson, Collegedale, TN, Jean Benny, Ocala, FL and Loretta Brown, Whitwell, TN; 5 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren several nieces and nephews.

A private graveside service with the family was held Saturday August 4, 2018 at the Fall Creek Cemetery.
