Rosemary "Rosie" (Hurt) Beasley, 75, Plainfield, formerly of Mooresville, died February 2, 2003, in Saint Francis Hospital - Beech Grove.

The daughter of the late Paul H. and Katherine Elizabeth (York) Hurt, she was born July 20, 1927 in Clarksville, Tenn. She married James L. Beasley on Oct. 14, 1945. He survives in Plainfield.

Mrs. Beasley was a secretary to the hourly personnel director for 13 years at Allison Transmission in Indianapolis.

She was a member of the Plainfield Christian Church and formerly of Tri Kappa.

Survivors include a daughter, Cheryl L. Grimme, Zionsville; two grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.

A son, James Bruce Beasley, and a sister, Helen E. Hawkins, preceded her in death.

The service will be 11:00 am Friday at the Plainfield Christian Chruch, 800 Dan Jones Road, in Plainfield. The Rev Steve White will officiate. Entombment will be in Maple Hill Cemetery in Plainfield. Friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Carlisle & Sons Funeral Chapel in Mooresville.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Plainfield Christian Church, 800 Dan Jones Road, Plainfield, Indiana 46128.
