Selma J. Epp, 83, of Lincoln, passed away February 7, 2018. She was born June 3, 1934, in Henderson, to Henry and Katharina (Rempel) Hiebner. As a child, she gave her heart to Christ and desired to follow Him. She graduated from Grace University in Omaha where she met Herbert Epp, whom she married in 1957. They spent 26 years as missionaries in the Philippines with SEND International and raised three children. Selma was a devoted, loving, and supportive wife, mother, and grandmother.

She is survived by her husband, Herbert; children Diann Warkentin (Leland), Bonnie Bowley (James), Douglas Epp (Rochelle); 12 grandchildren; two great-granddaughters; brother Gerhard Hiebner (Carol); and brother-in-law Daniel Buller. She is preceded in death by her parents and sister, Marie Buller.
A celebration of Selma's life will be held at 10 a.m. Monday (2/12) at Middle Cross Church, 2600 N. 70th St., Lincoln, with Rev. Tim Majorins officiating. Visitation is 3-8 p.m., with family greeting friends from 3-5 p.m. Sunday (2/11) at Roper and Sons, 4300 'O' St. Memorials may be given to SEND International or Middle Cross Church.
