Mr. and Mrs. Amiel DeClercq will celebrate their 50th Wedding Anniversary this Sunday. They were married September 4, 1909 in Aaltre, East Flanders, Belgium and came to this country after World War One. They have 6 children: Raymond, Mrs. Evelyn Brown, Mrs. Germain Bopp, Mrs. Mary Shellenbarger, Miss Lillian DeClercq, and Miss Regina, at home.

Amiel DeClercq, 90, Monroeville, died yesterday in a Van Wert, Ohio hospital where he had been a patient one month.
He formerly was employed as a trackman for the Pennsylvania Railroad and was a member of St. Rose Catholic Church, Monroeville and its Holy Name Society.
Surviving are s son, Raymond, Fort Wayne; five daughters, Miss Lillian DeClercq, New York, Miss Regina DeClercq, at home, Mrs. Evelyn Brown, Van Wert, Mrs. Germaine Bopp, Decatur, and Mrs. Mary Shellenbarger, Monroeville; eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 9 a.m. Saturday in St. Rose Catholic Church, Rev. Edward Roswog officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Friends may call at the Marquart Funeral Home, Monroeville, after 7:30 p.m. today. Rosary services will be at 7:30 p.m. Friday in the funeral home.
