Dr. Gregory Lynn Philpott, MD, age 70 of Greenville, Indiana passed away Saturday, August 11, 2018, in his residence.
He was a Family Physician, as well as a licensed Optometrist, Auctioneer, Real Estate Broker and Pilot. He was a member of the American Medical Association, American Academy of Family Physicians and the Indiana Academy of Family Physicians and was a past member of Doctors Without Borders

He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence R. and Colleen M. (Hattabaugh) Philpott of Salem and a brother, Eric Philpott, also of Salem.
Visitation: 4 to 8 pm Wednesday and 9 am until the time of the service on Thursday at Dawalt Funeral Home.
Funeral Service: 11:00 am Thursday at Dawalt Funeral Home with George Browning officiating and committal and interment following the service at Crown Hill Cemetery in Salem.
