Diane was born in Ekron, Kentucky to the late James and Menthy Branson. She developed a love and passion for serving her Savior, Jesus Christ, at an early age. Exercising her faith practically came naturally, especially when it involved loving on her family. She will be remembered as a loving and devoted Mom, Granny, Sister, Aunt, and Friend. Her infectious smile and wonderful outlook on life will be dearly missed.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Steve James (Rochelle) and Rhonda Johnston (Bob); siblings, Rosa Acree, Naomi Larouche, David Branson (Sue), Connie Branson (Wanda), and Pat Kelly (Mike); grandchildren, Mariah, Connor (Karen), Michayla (Ian), Carley, and Stephen; and one great grandchild, Luna, who will be born later this month.
Visitation will be held 2-8 p.m. Tuesday and 9-11 a.m. Wednesday at Ratterman and Sons, 10600 Taylorsville Road – Jeffersontown. Funeral services in celebration of her life will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with burial to occur later that day in Meade County, Kentucky.
