Thirty-three years ago Mr. Alper came to this city from Russia and was at that time 22 years of age. Since 1887 he has been engaged as a painter and paper hanging contractor. Business activities made him well known throughout the valley and his host of friends will be grieved to learn of his death.
The deceased took a great interest in civic matters and has served for the last fifteen years as Inspector of election on the election board of the Third ward. He was a member of the O. B. A. Lodge.
Besides his wife and two children, Mrs. William G. Oserin and son Victor, the deceased 18 survived by the following brothers and gister, Elias, Hyman, Mrs. D. Bernstein, all of this city, and Rachel of Russia.
The funeral will be held from the family home Monday at 2 p. m. Interment will be in the Darling Street Jewish Cemetery.
