Eual Collins formerly of Burlington, KY was born June 5, 1934 in Knott County, KY and died Saturday July 21, 2018 at St. Elizabeth Hospital, Edgewood, KY at the age of 84.
He was the son of the late Silas Monroe and Dora Belle Combs Collins. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict, A retired teacher for Conner High School, and a member of 7 Hills Church.
Eual was preceded in death by 1 son, David Eual Collins, 1 sister, Anne Sloan, and 10 brothers, Arthur, John, Bill, Hillard, Jack, Kermit, Willard, Oscar, Earnest, and Howard Collins.
Surviving is 1 son, Charles Michael Collins of Spencer, IN; 6 daughters, Lynn Michele Richerson of Florence, Deborah Ann (Steve) Ives of Florence, Joyce Elaine (Bill) Sharp of Williamstown, Donna Marie Collins of Latonia, Lisa Kay Ashcraft of Cold Spring, and Janet Yvonne (Jeff) Burris of Covington; 13 Grandchildren, Brandon, Greg, Sarah, Stephanie W., Stephanie K., Josh, Elizabeth, Jarrod, Lucas, Sydney, Alec, Wendy and Brittany; 16 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great granddaughter.
Visitation will be 5:00-7:00pm Wednesday, July 25, 2018 at the Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home, Crittenden, KY. A celebration of life will be at 7:00pm Wednesday at the funeral home. Military graveside services will be 11:00am Thursday, July 26, 2018 at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery North, Williamstown, KY.
Memorials are suggested to the American Heart Association or to 7 Hills Church.
