William David Nichols 69, of Marion, passed away August 24, 2018, at Brookwood Hospital in Birmingham. Services will be held Wednesday August 29, 2018, at 1 p.m. from Marion United Methodist Church with Rev. Len Hurston and Rev. Butch Williams officiating. Burial will follow in Ephesus Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Kirk Funeral Home Marion Chapel.

William was born March 7, 1949, in Selma, to Thomas and Dorothy Tucker Nichols.

He was preceded by his mother.

Surviving William is his wife, Carol Parrish Nichols; daughter, Heather (Joe) Nichols; son, William (Aimee) Nichols; father, Thomas Nichols; brothers, Charles (Dianne) Nichols and Layne Nichols; grandchildren, Parrish, Sims, Emoree, and Stella.

Pallbearers will be Parrish Nichols, Sims Nichols, Tyler Birkenfield, Pat Fry, John Lovvorn, Spike Parrish, Mike Rominger, and Jonathon Johnson.
