Rachel Collins Bailey, 81, passed away on Sept. 2, 2018, at Roman Eagle Healthcare Center. She was born in Pittsylvania County on Sept. 27, 1936, daughter of Earl Collins and Jimmie Haymore Collins. She was a graduate of the Whitmell Farm Life School. She went on to become an administrator for Sleepy Hollow Manor in Annandale, VA. Prior to that, she worked for the Washington Old Dominion Railroad. She was a member of Kentuck Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Reynard Russell Bailey; daughters, Janet Bailey Crafaik and Angela Salazar Raines (Geoffrey); step daughter, Vickie Carson; brothers, Paul Collins and Jerry Collins; four grandchildren.
Burial will be in Highland Burial Park.
