Daughter of Rudolph and Eva Haines Zimmerly. Wife of George S. Barber and Haywood Bryan. Mother of Oliver Earl, Adelaide Gladys, Sally, Melva Mabel, and Dorothy Barber.

Mrs. Eva L. Bryan of 1214 Highland Avenue, wife of Haywood Bryan, died in the Jameson Memorial Hospital Monday, at 12:30 p.m., after a short illness. Mrs. Bryan was born in New Castle, daughter of Rudolph and Eva Haines Zimmerly. She lived here all her life and was a member of the Bethany Lutheran Church.

In addition to her husband, she leaves her children: Mrs. Lawrence Drake of Fresno, Calif, Mrs. E. A. (Sally) Arrow, and Mrs. Raymond Emery of this city. Three brothers survive: Theodore, Frank, and Charles Zimmerly, all of New Castle; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Three brothers and two sisters preceded her in death. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at two p.m. at the Joseph B. Leyde Mortuary, Highland Avenue at Winter with Rev. Arthur H. Blank to be in charge. Burial will be in Oak Park Cemetery.
