Member St. James United Methodist Church; Alden Kindred of America, Duxbury, Mass.; Nebraska Society of Mayflower Descendants; 60 year member American Legion Post #3; charter member 40&8. University of Nebraska alumnus. Survivors: wife, Beulah; son, Dale W., Lincoln; daughter, Blanche Sawyer, Lincoln; stepsons, Jim, Wayne, Michael, Nebraska City, Dwayne, Round Lake, Ill.; three grandchildren; great-grandson; two nieces.
Services: 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, ROPER AND SON CHAPEL, 4300 O St. The Rev. William Finlaw. Lincoln Memorial Park.
