Florence was diagnosed with colon cancer at the age of 41 and was declared cancer free several years later. After the death of her husband (6/18/1996), her cancer recurred. She fought long and hard to beat this dreaded disease before losing her battle in September 2006 - just short of her 68th birthday.
Always thinking of others, Florence elected to donate her body to science, in the hopes that others may benefit.
At the end of a year (September 2007), her cremated body will be returned to the family. At that time, we will most likely bury her with our father in Resurrection Cemetery in Bensalem, PA.
