Agnes maybe a daughter of a second wife, if there is one, of The Emigrant John but more likely a daughter of his eldest son John. She had no children. Listed as a member Associate Reform Church, Newbury, May 1801.

Named in the 20 April 1808 addition to the 4 Apr 1806 Newburgh, Orange Co., NY will of Agnes Humphrey McClaughry - my house & lot land in Water Street, village of New Burgh & other real property to my brother William Humphrey - To Abraham Wilson [who?] $25 ~ to Love Humphrey daughter of George Humphrey $20 ~ to Nancy [who?] Tilford, to Ester Tilford, Margaret Cowell [who? remarried widow of David?], Mercy [Belknap daughter of Jeduthan and wife of George] Humphrey, & Phebe Humphrey [likely wife of William?] [the abstract does not have what the above 5 receive?] - residue of personel estate to be divided in six parts which I give to: one sixth to Jane Humphrey daughter of William Humphrey, one sixth to the children of my sister Esther Tilford wife of William Tilford, one sixth to children of my brother David Humphrey deceased [who were they?], one sixth to the children of Mary Tilford deceased wife of Alexander Tilford, one sixth to my brother George Humphrey & remaining sixth to children of my sister Catherine Denton deceased wife of John Denton, to the above who are under age put at intrest until of age 21 years - appt my brother William Humphrey & my friend William Ross exrs - h & s 4 Apr 1806 signed Agnes (her mark) McLaughry Wits Joseph Reeve, Thomas Redman, Alexander Falls, Francis Crawford, Charles Blake, Paul H.
