Merlette M Lightcap, 75, formerly of 316 S 1st St, died Tuesday morning in St Anthony Hospital after a long illness. She lived 60 years in Rockford, coming here from Monroe Center. She was a member of St Edward Catholic Church,
Survivors include three sons, Henry Lightcap II, Chicago, William Lightcap, Aurora, Ky, and Roger Lightcap, Rockford; two daughters, Sandra Adams, Paragould, Ark, and Kathleen Busse, New Milford; 17 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 9:30 a Friday in St Edward Catholic Church, with burial in Calvary Cemetery. Arrangements were by Sundberg Funeral Home, Ltd, 215 N 6th St.
