Abel Thomas, a well known citizen of Upper Providence, Montgomery County, died on Friday morning, at his residence at Mingo Station after a lingering illness, of cancer in the stomach. He was 54 years of age. Deceased was a miller and farmer by occupation, and was one of the directors of the Mechanic's National Bank of Phoenixville.
