Iola Bellard Hobbins of Picayune, Miss., passed away Wednesday, Sept. 26, 2018 at the age of 95.
Visitation will be held 10 a.m.- 1 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 7, 2018, at Hixson- Sulphur Funeral Home, 2015 East Napoleon, Sulphur, La. Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. in the chapel. Burial will be at Big Woods Cemeteryin Edgerly, La., immediately following services.

She was a resident of Picayune for 22 years and a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church.

She is survived by her daughter, Lana Blackman of McNeill, Miss.; her sisters, Patricia Lee Schneider (Joe) of Alexandria, La., and Katherine Thibodeaux of Lake Charles, La.; her grandchildren, Candice Saboe (Larry), FarrahCraft (Tim), Charity Romine and Amiee Williams; and her great-grandchildren, Cade and Hannah Romine, Blake, Brock and Brooks Craft, and Garrett, Wyatt and Bryson Williams.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Alvin M. Hobbins; parents, Oralex Bellard and Edna Simon Bellard; sisters, Lillie Mae Powell, Alice Ogea and Violet Higgins; brothers, Harvey Bellard, Felix Bellard and Charles Bellard;and daughter, Gloria Jean Ryals.
