A native of Edgerly, she lived in Sulphur for 42 years. She was a graduate of Vinton High School and the Acadiana Technical College.
Survivors include her husband; one son, Paul Gregory Ogea of Carlyss; two daughters, Cynthia Jackson and Paula Vincent, both of Carlyss; four sisters, Iola Hobbins of Mississippi, Mae Powell of Edgerly, Patricia Schneider of Alexandria, and Katherine Thibodeaux of Lake Charles; 12 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
