TWIN FALLS — Cora B. Butter, 74, of Twin Falls, died Tuesday afternoon, Feb. 9, 1988, at her home of natural causes. She was born Nov. 14, 1919, in Beardsley, Kansas. She moved to Idaho as a young girl and married Oral Butler on July 28, 1931, in Shoshone. He died Jan. 15, 1987. They farmed for a number of years before moving to California in 1955. They returned to Twin Falls in 1970. She worked with her husband as a custodian at Harrison Elementary School until they retired in 1978. She was a member of the Tyler Street Baptist Church.
Surviving are: one son, Earl Ray Butler of Portland, Ore.; one sister, Grayce Richardson of Lake Fork; and three grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, four sisters and three brothers. The funeral will be held Monday at 11:30 a.m. at White Mortuary with Pastor Dan McAtee officiating. Friends may call at White Mortuary Saturday and Sunday from 3-8 p.m. and Monday until 10:30 a.m. Burial will be in West End Cemetery in Buhl. The family suggests memorials to a favorite charity. Donations may be mailed to White Mortuary, Box 845, Twin Falls 83303.
