Oral Thomas Butler
TWIN FALLS — Oral Thomas Butler, 75, of Twin Falls, died Thursday at Magic Valley Regional Medical Center.
Born March 14, 1911, in Opolis, Kan., he moved to Magic Valley in 1919, and finished his schooling at Castleford. He married Cora B. Snoderly July 23, 1931, in Shoshone. He farmed for a few years before moving to California in 1955, where he worked as a mechanic until returning to Twin Falls in 1970. He and his wife were custodians at Harrison School until retiring in 1978. He was a member of the Tyler Street Baptist Church.
Surviving are: his wife of Twin Falls; a son, Earl Ray Butler of Portland; and 3 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by 2 brothers.
The funeral will be held Monday noon at White Mortuary Chapel, with Dan McAtee, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in West End Cemetery in Buhl.
Friends may call at the mortuary in Twin Falls today and Sunday from 3 to 5 p.m. The family suggests memorial contributions to a favorite charity.
