Jerry Allen passed away at age 75 on Thursday, Sept 27th in Chowchilla, CA.
He was born in Bakersfield, CA on February 20, 1943 to Vessie and Janie Allen. Jerry had 4 brothers and 3 sisters. Jerry has a son, 3 daughters and 9 grandchildren.
Jerry is survived by his long-time girlfriend of 26 years, Virginia Wiggins and their dog Trouble. He has 3 daughters, Lynette and Ruben Mendoza of Madera, Tammy and Chris Furtado of Chowchilla and Jerri and Dennis Clay of Chowchilla. One of his greatest enjoyments was spending time with his grandchildren, Kamryn & Korina Mendoza, Logan & Melinda Clay, Madisyn, Allisyn, Rayce Furtado and Jerry & Linda Allen. He also has his 2 sisters, Thelma Schlichting of Oregon and Karnese Burgett of Bakersfield.
Jerry is preceded in death by his loving wife Linda Allen and son Jerry Dean Allen. He also had his brother Jimmie, Bay, Hike and Junior waiting to greet him in Heaven along with his sister Jodie and many other family members.
Jerry loved fishing and wood work. Jerry worked many years in Constructions with his Brother-n-laws, niece, and nephews. He also enjoyed his career as a Milker on many Dairies within Madera County.
Jerry will be truly missed by his family and friends.
There will be a graveside service held for Jerry on Thursday, October 4, 2018 at 10:00 am at the Chowchilla District Cemetery, Chowchilla, California.
