Jeannette Jenson, 76, Minot, ND, formerly of Stanley, ND, passed away Sunday, October 14, 2018 at home with her family by her side. Jeannette Jean Brown, daughter of Cecil and Bertha (Frye) Brown, was born June 23, 1942 in Deering, ND, where she was raised and educated until she later moved to Minot and graduated from Minot High School.

Jeannette married Melvin Jenson at Christ Lutheran Church of Minot in 1960. Together they had 3 children: Lisa, Lori and Chad. They later divorced and Jeannette then met her partner in life of over 30 years, Tom Rudolph, of Stanley, ND. Together they have 5 grandchildren: Austin, Meagan, Dylan, Cody and Sierra, and 4 great-grandchildren: Andrew, Layne, Sophie and Scarlett.

Jeannette was a member of the Moose Club of Minot and a member of the Christian Womens club at her church, Bread of Life. She enjoyed puzzles, crocheting, reading and attending events for her great-grandchildren. Christmas was her favorite holiday. In the weeks preceding her passing, her children made sure to bring Christmas to her. She enjoyed doing water aerobics at the local YMCA with her sister Elaine. She loved to travel with family and friends. Her travels included trips to Washington, DC, Jamaica, Las Vegas, Chicago, Niagara Falls and Puerto Rico. She also really enjoyed her most recent trips to Branson, Missouri with Donna Grilley with her sisters Ardis, Sharon and her husband Jerry to the east coast, where she laughed and laughed.

Jeannette was the epitome of what a good mother should be. Family meant everything to her. Her favorite times included visiting with her daughter, Lori, on the farm in Granville and spending time with her son and daughter in Missoula, MT. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were very special to her. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
