SULLIVAN - Luella N. Pagel, 89, of Sullivan, died Thursday, Jan. 5, 2006, at Oconomowoc Memorial Hospital.

Funeral services will be held Monday at 7 p.m. at St. John's Lutheran Church, 2405 Highway 18, Sullivan, with the Rev. Dean Zemple officiating. Visitation will be held Monday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the church. Burial will be at the church cemetery on Tuesday at 10 a.m.

Memorials may be made to the donor's choice.

Luella was born April 20, 1916, in the town of Concord, the daughter of Otto Zuehlke and Clara Wenzel.

She married Robert Pagel on June 11, 1938, in Sullivan.

Luella was a homemaker. She taught crocheting at the senior center for 18 years and was an active member at St. John's Lutheran Church in Sullivan and with the Ladies Aid. She was also a member of the Sullivan Senior Citizens and the Farm Bureau.

Survivors include her children, John (Marsha) Pagel of Sullivan, Harvey (Gayle) Pagel of Richland Center, Eugene Pagel of Sullivan, Karen Raabe of Watertown, and Sherri (Paul) Brigowatz of Watertown; and sisters, Irma (Joe) Thamke of Sullivan, and Grace Lyon of Sullivan; 10 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, David, grandson, Bryan; and brother, Kenneth Zuehlke.
