Otto Zuehlke
SULLIVAN - Otto G. Zuehlke, 89, 42 Grove Street, Sullivan, died of an apparent stroke Saturday at Watertown Skilled Care Center. He had been ill for approximately six months.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at St. John's Lutheran Church, Golden Lake, with Rev. Charles H. Chaveriat officiating. Burial will be in St. John's Lutheran Cemetery.
Friends may call to pay their respects at the church Wednesday from 11 a.m. until the time of the services. Memorials, if desired, may be given to the organ fund of the church.

Zuehlke was born Dec. 18, 1890 in the Town of Summit, son of Ferdinand and Wilhelmine Zuehlke. He was married to the former Clara Wenzel on Feb. 10, 1915, at St. John's Church in Golden Lake. The couple celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary this year.
He was a dairy farmer in the town of Concord until retiring in 1954. He was a lifelong member of St. JOhn's Lutheran Church, Golden Lake, and was a past member of the church council.
Survivors include his wife; one son, Kenneth Zuehlke of Golden Lake, Three daughters, Mrs. Robert (Luella) Pagel of Sullivan, Mrs. Joseph (Irma) Thamke [Thoemke} of Sullivan, and Mrs. Marvin (Grace) Lyon of Sullivan; one brother George Zuehlke of Loyal; one sister Mrs. Emily Wenzel of Sullivan; 13 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by three brothers, four sisters, and one grandson.
