Mildred Asher, 70, life resident of Ridge Farm area, died at 5:25 p.m., Thursday, May 15, 1986 in St. Elizabeth Hospital.

Born July 24, 1915, she was a daughter of Theodore and Esther Nale Steeples.

She married Paul Arrasmith, then, Shirley Asher; both preceded her in death.

Survivors include a son Carl Arrasmith of Hesperia, Mich; two brothers, Bill of Ridge Farm and Earl of Clinton, Ind., four sisters, Rose Freed of Cayuga, Ind., Catherine Beck of Clinton, Ind., Esther Shelton of Ridge Farm, and Dorothy Meeker of Cayuga; 9 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.

Two sisters and one brother preceded her in death.

Services were held at 10 a.m. Monday at the Honnold & Son Funeral Home, Ridge Farm with the Rev. Ed Ross officating. Burial was in Crown Hill Cemetery, Ridge Farm, Ill.
