JeanAnn Devins, 57, of Troy, Missouri passed away surrounded by her family, after a fight against breast cancer on Saturday, October 27, 2018 at SSM Health St. Joseph Hospital in Lake Saint Louis, Missouri. She was born on May 4, 1961 in Plainfield, New Jersey, a daughter of Richard and Annette Hauck. She was united in marriage to Terry Lee Devins on November 3, 1984 in Princeton, Illinois. To this union three sons and one daughter were born.
JeanAnn graduated from Princeton High School in 1979 and continued her education earning her Bachelor’s Degree at Saint Mary-of-the-Woods in Indiana. JeanAnn and Terry, moved to St. Charles in 1986 and later to Troy in 2001. She taught for a brief time until the birth of her first child. JeanAnn and her husband owned and operated Devins Cable, Inc. from 1984 till 1997, then starting DevCom Utilities Contractor, Inc.

JeanAnn’s greatest joy was spending time with her family. Her children were the world to her and from the time they were born, her life revolved around spending all her time with them. A few of her favorite memories were boating trips to some of her favorite lakes, snow-ski trips, beach vacations and her annual weekends with the girls. She enjoyed spending time outdoors and gardening. JeanAnn was a loving, generous, compassionate and fun mother and friend. She was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Troy, Missouri.

She is survived by her two sons and one daughter: Shea Devins, Elise Devins and Cullen Devins of Troy, MO; mother: Annette Hauck of Wentzville, MO; one brother and one sister: Thomas Hauck and wife Brigit of Longmont, CO, Carla Hauck and husband Brad Rempert of Broomfield, CO; mother-in-law, Carol Devins of Princeton, IL; two sisters-in-law: Greta Fraizer and husband Tim and Tammy Kastor and husband Rodney of Princeton, IL; numerous nieces, nephews and many friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Richard Hauck, her husband, Terry Lee Devins, one son, Sean McElwain (Mackie) Devins, father-in-law, Larry Devins and brother-in-law, Cory Devins.

Family and friends will be received from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 3, 2018 at KEMPER-MILLARD-KEIM Family Funeral Chapel located at 351 Monroe Street Troy, MO 63379. Funeral services will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 3, 2018 at the KEMPER-MILLARD-KEIM Family Funeral Chapel in Troy, Missouri.
