Addie Barber, 94 of Seminole, FL passed away Saturday afternoon, October 27, 2018. She was born on October 23, 1924 in Todd County, Kentucky, to Waymon and Daisy Law. She married Harold Weldon Barber on August 7, 1943 who preceded her in death in 2001.
Addie has two surviving daughters: Brenda Hall and Shirley (Don) Snyder, two grandchildren: Kevin (Kelly) Hancock and Kristen (Jeff) Davis, three great-grandchildren: Kayla Hancock, Kolby Hancock, and Sydney Davis. Addie was the last of six siblings with nine surviving nephews and nieces.
Addie was a long-time resident of Seminole, FL, after moving here from Hopkinsville Kentucky in 1983. She was a member of Generations United Church in Niceville, FL and she loved working in her flower gardens, cooking delicious meals for family and friends and finding treasures at garage sales. She always enjoyed life to the fullest, even to the point when she became house-bound due to failing health.
Her service will be at Generations United Church, located at: 108 Highway 85 North, Niceville, FL 32578 on Friday, November 2nd. Visitation will be from 1pm to 2pm and the service will start immediately following the visitation at 2pm. Pastors Phil Daniels and Jeff Davis will be officiating, and the burial will be at Heritage Gardens, located at: 2201 North Partin Drive, Niceville, FL 32578
