Miss Louisa Beddow, of Minersville, and Thomas Williams, of Lansford, were married at the brides home, by Rev. Davis, of Lansford. The bride is a daughter of Mrs. William Beddow, and was recently a clerk in Bright's Lansford store. The groom is employed as a Surveyor under the Lehigh Navigation Company, and leader of the Lansford choir. He was a candidate for Mine Inspector in this district. Mr. and Mrs. Williams will reside at Lansford, in an elegantly furnished home.

Death of Estimable Lady.
Mrs. Williams, of Lansford, died Saturday. She was formerly Miss Louise Beddow, daughter of the late Matthew Beddow, Sr., and became Mrs. Williams about two years ago. Mrs. Williams was a clerk in Bright's general store, at Lansford, before her marriage and was universally esteemed. Her husband is a well known civil engineer. The remains will be taken to Minersville for interment.

The remains of Mrs. T. J. Williams, nee Louisa Beddow, of Hazleton, were brought to this place yesterday, and interred in the Congregational cemetery. Many people of Hazleton and Lansford attended the funeral. Services were held at the home of the deceased and at the grave. The funeral was very large and attended to the high esteem in which the lady was held.
Editor John Maloy and Coal Operator Davis, of Lansford, were here yesterday attending the Williams obsequies.
