He died in 1914, she was to marry widower, August Dietrich of Muscatine on October 6, 1928 but he was found dead on October 2. Louisa was the mother of three daughters, Frieda, Louisa and Esther; one son, Arthur. She was preceded in death by her daughter Frieda.
