Muncie - Evelyn Caroline (Conner) Hutchinson, 88, passed away on Thursday, November 1, 2018 at I.U. Health Ball Memorial Hospital surrounded by her family.
She was born on December 29, 1929 in Delaware County, the daughter of Ruben V. and Martha C. (Younts) Conner.
Evelyn enjoyed visiting with her son and watching NASCAR racing and Pacers basketball.
Survivors include her son, Douglas R. Hutchinson (wife, Peggy); granddaughter, Nickole McElroy; four great-grandchildren, Joel, Caleb, Nicholas, and Taylor; brother, Virgil Conner (wife, Billie); and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald C. Hutchinson, parents, Ruben Conner and Martha Conner, two brothers, Lloyd Conner, Ferrell Conner, and two sisters, Mary Jane and Ruby.
A private family celebration of life will be held on Sunday, November 4, 2018 at The Meeks Mortuary and Crematory, Washington Street Chapel from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m.
