Dennis E. Behrmann, age 61, of 6511 CTH O, Two Rivers, died early Tuesday morning, April 15, 2003 at his residence.

According to Dennis’s wishes his body was donated to medical science. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, April 21, 2003 at St. Peter the Fisherman Parish, Holy Redeemer Site, Two Rivers. Officiating at the service will be the Rev. William O’Brien with burial of the cremated remains at Knollwood Cemetery at a later date.

Dennis was born on May 4, 1941 in Medford, Wis., son of the late Edwin W. and Anna M. Sprenger Behrmann. On June 28, 1958, he married the former Yvonne Elaine Kvitek at St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Stangelville. Dennis was the supervisor of maintenance and operations for the Two Rivers Public School System retiring in 1989. He was a Third Degree member of the Mishicot Council, Knights of Columbus and a member of the Rev. Francis Simono Assembly #1220, Fourth Degree Knights of Columbus, Two Rivers. Dennis was a member of St. Peter the Fisherman Parish. He loved working with wood and always had “special projects” to do.

Survivors include his wife: Yvonne Behrmann, Two Rivers; one daughter and son-in-law: Virginia and Randall Williams, Appleton; two grandchildren: Anthony and Alicia; three brothers and two sisters-in-law: Edwin Behrmann, Two Rivers; Robert and Ann Behrmann, Tisch Mills; William and Jacqueline Behrmann, Long Lake; three sisters and brothers-in-law: LaVerne and Robert Coppersmith, Manitowoc; Marlene and Erich Birkholtz, Two Rivers; Beatrice and Robert Jaeger, Maribel. Nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. Dennis was also preceded in death by a daughter: Sandra; and his mother and father-in-law: Charles and Sylvia Kvitek.

The family will greet relatives and friends from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m. on Monday, April 21, 2003 at St. Peter the Fisherman Parish, Holy Redeemer Site, Two Rivers. The Klein & Stangel Funeral Home and Cremation Care Center, Two Rivers, is assisting the Behrmann family with funeral arrangements.

The family wishes to extend their gratitude to Dr. Baatz, Dr. Auchter, Sister Jean Herman and the Cancer Care Unit staff at Holy Family Memorial Hospital, Father Bill, and the Home Care and Hospice providers for their care and compassion extended to Dennis and his family.
