A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday November 26, 2012 at 11:30 a.m. at St. Michael the Archangel Church in Streator. Monsignor Phillip Halfacre will officiate and Deacon Bill Goulding will conduct graveside services at the Russian Orthodox Cemetery in Streator. Serving as pallbearers will be Tom Rhanor, Chris Rhanor, Patrick Goulding, Allen Taylor, Jason Paton, Bob Cushman and Tyler Day. Visitation will be Monday morning from 9 - 11:15 a.m. at the Elias Funeral Home in Streator.
Born February 17, 1922 in Streator, she was the daughter of George and Pauline (Sproch) Sedlock. She married Nick P. Brozak on November 27, 1947, he died November 2, 2000.
She is survived by children Paul Brozak of Oregon, WI, Daniel (Jean) Brozak of Streator, Rosemarie (Michael) Rhanor of Rockford, IL, Alexandria (Don) Wolff of Villa Park, CA, Jeanne (William) Goulding of Greendale, WI. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, sisters Pauline Connor, Alice Jaegle, Chrysanthia Sedlock, Dorothy Sedlock, Anna and Mary in infancy, brothers Stephen, William, Carl, Leo, Daniel, Joseph Sedlock and George in infancy.
She attended St. Mary's Grade School and graduated from Streator Township High School in 1941, she worked at Owens Illinois Glass Mfg. for 30 years. She was a former member of Immaculate Conception Church, current member of St. Michael the Archangel Church, Past President of the Eagles Auxiliary, V.F.W. Auxiliary, and worked for the Streator American Red Cross Chapter for 22 years.
