Carole Presley, age 91, of Russellville died peacefully in her sleep November 27, 2018. She was born December 21, 1926, in Flora, Illinois to Clark and Julia Belle Cecil Akers.
She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Russellville. She was one of the original employees of the International Shoe Company, a former employee of Russellville Glass Company, worked for Gold Masters and then owned her own jewelry business. Her pride and joy were her family.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Miller Presley; and 11 brothers and sisters.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, John and Peggy Presley of Rogers; daughter and son-in-law, Jeanne and Larry Mahan of Pottsville; six grandchildren, Micah and Cara Williams of Dover and Melissa and Sean Hagan of Dallas, Texas, Danielle and Matt Stepanovich of Pittsburg, Pennsylvania, Brandon Presley of Colcord, Okhahoma, Ashley Presley of Bella Vista, and Serenity Presley of Rogers; 10 great-grandchildren, Alaynna (Wes) Rains, Presley and Jaylinn Williams, Amelia and Piper Hagan, Mia, Madeline and Mylan Stepanovich, and Cameron and Brooklyn Himsl.
The funeral service will be at 9:00 a.m., Friday, November 30, 2018, at the Shinn Chapel Minister Micah Williams officiating.
The graveside service will be at 12:00 p.m., Friday, at the Little Rock National Cemetery and under the direction of Shinn Funeral Service of Russellville.
The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 5:00-6:00 p.m., at the funeral home.
