Mrs. Hargrove was a native of Giles County, TN, born Dec. 4, 1934, daughter of Gladys and Charlotte Metcalf Edde. She was retired from the Marshall County Board of Education where she had been the manager of MCHS cafeteria. She was a member of Church Street Church of Christ.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by three sisters, Martha Strickland, Irene Matthews and Mary Hollingsworth; and three brothers, Mutt Edde, J.D. Edde and Roy Edde. She is survived by her husband, Toney Hargrove of Cornersville; two sons, Gary Crosslin and Randy (Ellen) Crosslin; one daughter, Connie Shrum, all of Lewisburg; one step son, Troy Hargrove; and two step daughters, Angie (Tony) Cross of Lewisburg, Amy (Rich) Bucco of Alabama; two brothers, William Edde of Pulaski and Robert Edde of Admore, AL; eleven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, Dec. 1, 2018, at 11 a.m. from the chapel of London Funeral Home with burial to follow in Lone Oak Cemetery.
The family will be at London Funeral Home Friday from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. for visitation.
