She married her true love Glenn Garvey on a very cold and snowy January 29, 1949, in Manitowoc, Wisconsin. After 65 years of marriage, Glenn preceded her in death on August 24, 2014. Lorraine will always be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. We will all remember her beautiful smile. She was a member of Holy Trinity Parish, St. Anne's Society, Friends of the Library and a member and past president of both the Oconto Women's Club and St. Vincent DePaul Society. Lorraine was a Cub Scout den mother, Girl Scout and 4H leader who loved sewing, quilting, crocheting, gardening, biking, cross country skiing and bird watching.
