Frederick Aho, 85, dies after illness
Frederick Aho, 85, of Miller Road, RD 6, Auburn, died Saturday in Auburn Memorial Hospital after a long illness. A native of Finland, he came to the U.S. in 1907 and had lived in Senntt for the past 18 years. He was a retired farmer. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Hilma Kero Aho; a son, Rudolph Aho of RD 6; two sisters, Mrs. Ethel Banuat of Pleasant Mount, Pa., and Mrs. Harriet Pelosi of Syracuse, nine grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at a time to be announced in Forest City, Pa. Burial will be in Wheeler Hill Cemetery, Pleasant Mount, Pa. Local arrangements are by the Bernie J. O'Neill & Son Funeral Home, Skaneateles.
Correction: Ethel (Aho) Merklin Banuat & Harriet/Ellen (Aho) Leins Pelosi, are actually Frederick's daughters (not sisters, as stated in the obituary).
