Bonnie Belle Bannon was born August 30, 1922 to Fred and Nancy (Van Dolah) Adams. She joined her twin sister Bessie Louise five minutes later. They were born in a log cabin on Rock Creek South of Clyde Park, Montana.

She spent her early life in Clyde Park and then moved to Livingston as a young girl. She attended elementary through High School in Livingston, graduating in 1941.

Bonnie was introduced to her future husband Bill Bannon by her brother, Bob. Bill and Bonnie were married August 16, 1947. They made their home in Livingston for forty wonderful years until Bill passed away January 3, 1988.

Bonnie worked many years as a grocery clerk for Safeway and IGA. She then started work as a housekeeper at Livingston Memorial Hospital. She loved her job and always was trying to cheer up the patients. She worked as a housekeeper until she was 78 years old when she retired. She moved to Helena in December 2012 to live with her daughter and son-in-law, at the age of 90 years old.

Bonnie passed away on Tuesday morning November 20, 2018 at their home with her children and grandchildren by her side.

Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Bill Bannon, twin sister Bessie Versland, brother Bob Adams and many other relatives whom she loved.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Nancy & Jim Mason, Helena; son and daughter-in-law Barry & Janet Bannon, Livingston. Her grandchildren whom she loved and was so proud of Todd & Deb Dunlap, Terry & Valerie Dunlap, all of Helena; Lorie Dodge & Jeff Hall, Sheridan Wyo; Brooke & Allan Scott, Betsi & Sean Boyd of Denver and Billy Bannon & Lauren Ludtke, Helena. Also surviving her great grandchildren Justin, Austin and Madison Dunlap, Helena; Ashley and Bailey Dodge, Sheridan, Wyo, Gabriella Hodelin, Jasper Scott and Ivy Boyd of Denver, and Nicole Hall, Sheridan, Wyo. Surviving are many nieces and nephews that she dearly loved and her half-brother and his wife Jim and Judy Adams, Cascade.

Bonnie was fun loving, giving and cared about everyone. She made friends wherever she went and once you knew her, you loved her. You will be forever loved and missed, Mom, by all who knew you.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday December 1, 2018 at American Lutheran Church (corner of F Street and Lewis Street), in Livingston.
