Grace R. Garretson, 81, a retired schoolteacher who had lived here 26 years and was a member of First United Methodist Church and Eastern Star, Friendship Chapter 40, died Monday in Doctors Hospital.
Mrs. Garretson, 3650 E. Orange, is survived by children, Marjorie G. Lindberg, D. Mervin and Byron E. Garretson Jr.; stepchildren, Mabel Pryor, Dorothy Garwood, Ruth Lininger, Sylvia Weber, Louis, Lawrence, Earl and Robert L. Garretson; a brother; and 32 grandchildren. Friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. Thursday in A. L. Moore & Sons Mortuary, 333 W. Adams.
Services will be at 3 p.m. Friday in her church, 5510 N. Central.
